- Pasta – We like to use tri-color rotini, but you can use farfalle (aka bowtie), fusilli, orzo, penne, or rotini pasta. Just prepare the noodles according to the package directions.
- Zesty Italian Dressing – This is our all-time favorite pasta salad dressing. Using premade dressing makes this such an easy pasta salad recipe. Zesty Italian Dressing has bold bright flavors like red wine vinegar, garlic, and lemon.
- Lemon Pepper Seasoning – This adds a little more flavor to the pasta. You can also add some salt and pepper to taste.

I’ve been making this salad for (OMG!) 50 years and it is always a hit. The only difference is that I use Good Seasons Italian dressing – the one that you shake in a jar. Instead of adding water to the mix I use V-8 which gives it a nice flavor. Also you can use one or two types of oil and different flavors of vinegar. And for another topping I like to add toasted pine nuts. This is a great salad, thanks for including it.
