- 1 teaspoon paprika
- ¾ teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon poppy seeds
- ½ teaspoon celery seed
- ¼ teaspoon garlic powder
- ¼ teaspoon black pepper
- Pinch of cayenne pepper
- (optional) 2 Tablespoons Romano cheese
Combine the ingredients and mix well, store in an airtight jar in the fridge.
Recipe Tip
To make this salad a little easier to serve and eat, use a pair of kitchen scissors to cut the noodles into smaller pieces.
Frequently Asked Questions
You don’t have to! Tossing the pasta with the dressing while it’s still a little warm helps the pasta to absorb the Italian salad dressing and flavor a little better.
Usually cheese, salami, fresh vegetables, and a vinaigrette.
It is true that the longer your pasta salad sits in the fridge, the more flavorful it becomes. You can eat it immediately, if you want, but the best time to eat your pasta salad is about 6 hours after making it.
I always rinse my pasta for pasta salad – for two reasons: 1) It stops the cooking process so the pasta doesn’t get too mushy and 2) it rinses off some of the starch so that the pasta doesn’t clump together.
