Ground Beef Ground Pork Breadcrumbs Flour Onion Garlic Red Bell Pepper Carrot Eggs Whole Milk
Main Ingredients
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Add ground beef & pork to large bowl with breadcrumbs & flour. Stir & set aside.
Instructions
Heat oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Add onion, garlic, red pepper, and carrot. Sauté until onions are translucent.
In a medium-sized bowl, whisk eggs with milk, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder
Add the egg mixture, veggies & ketchup to the meat. Use a strong wooden spoon or your hands to mix it all in. Press the seasoned meat into a loaf pan.
Bake for 30 minutes. Remove from oven and spread 1/4 cup ketchup over the loaf & bake an extra 45 minutes.
Tip: Use kitchen gloves to keep your hands clean!
Slice & Serve
Allow to rest for 5 minutes, then slice and serve!
Tips For Making The Best Meatloaf

Let the meatloaf rest for about five minutes before slicing to allow all juices to redistribute after cooking.
Line your pan with parchment paper or use a cooking spray to make removal easy.
Use good quality, 85/15 beef and/or pork. Avoid super low fat varieties as this can make the meatloaf dry & crumbly.
Keep the ketchup to avoid a dry meatloaf.
