Walt Disney World is so much more than rides. You can sample world class food in gourmet restaurants, character dining, family style dinners, buffets, dinner shows, and dessert parties. Here are the best Disney World restaurants, and how to get a table there!
Disney World Restaurant Reservations
Reservations at the best Disney World restaurants can be made up to 6 months (180 days) in advance and they fill up as soon as they become available. If you are heading to Disney, here are some tips to getting in to your favorite dining locations.
Reservation Tips:
- Advanced planning is key. We like to map out which parks to visit on certain days, then make dining reservations to fit our plan.
- Make reservations for the night you get to Orlando at one of the restaurants in Disney Springs. This adorable shopping and dining district is free to visit and offers free parking too, so it’s a perfect place to wander and eat the night before you get started in the parks.
- Reservations can be made on the Disney World App or online here: Walt Disney World Restaurants and Reservations.
- Don’t panic if you can’t get the reservation you wanted right away. People drop their reservations all the time so keep checking your Disney World app.
- Check with the restaurant in person; if they aren’t full they sometimes take stand-by.
Disney Dining Plans
If you’re staying at one the Disney World resorts you have access to purchase Disney dining plans that can save you money on food during your visit. Track your dining plan on the Disney World app and even order ahead with mobile ordering. Right now there are four dining plans to choose from:
- Disney Quick-Service Dining Plan – 2 quick service meals and 2 snacks per person each day and one resort refillable drink cup.
- Disney Dining Plan – 1 quick service, 1 table service, 2 snacks per person each day and one resort refillable drink cup.
