Ingredients in Cranberry Brie Bites
- Puff Pastry
- Mini Brie
- Cranberry Sauce
- Rosemary Sprigs
Where to Find Mini Brie
Mini brie can be found at Costo and Trader Joe’s. Because those are national chains, you might have the best luck finding them there. I have seen mini brie wheels at my local grocery store, but you may not have them at yours.
Variations
Jam and Marmalade
- Use homemade cranberry sauce for a customizable creation
- Pepper jelly
- Orange marmalade
- Raspberry jam
- Fig jam
- Apricot jam
Nuts on top
- Pecans
- Walnuts
- Almonds
A pinch of spice
- Cinnamon
- Clove
Recipe Tip
I find it easier to put the Brie onto the pastry dough and then transfer them to the muffin tin. It helps the pastry to shape around the Brie.
Frequently Asked Questions about Cranberry Brie Bites
Keep the rind on. Not only is it edible, but it will also help the cheese keep its shape in your mini muffin tin while baking, giving you a nice wheel of cheese.
Yes freezing is a great idea. Bake your bites normally, let them come to room temperature, store in a single layer on a baking sheet in a freezer storage bag or freezer safe container where they will keep for up to 2 months. When ready to eat, heat up in the oven.
You can also cut a regular wheel into cubes of brie to create this recipe. It will taste the exact same!

Best there is
This looks like a good recipe for the Cranberry Brie Bites. I have seen several recipes for it before, but this one seems to be a good one to try. Thanks!
I had some puff pastry in the freezer, so I went for this! I left off the rosemary for me, but the rest of the family loved it!
2 questions:
How big should I cut the pastry if using a mini muffin pan
And
Is the “hot honey” just heated up regular honey or some that is a spicy honey?
My workmates loved it!! I found the cheese at Publix here in the south and was able to find a mini log I could slice to size. Great recipe!
Thanks Angie! I’m so happy you all enjoyed the recipe!
Thses sound delicious – I am not sure if I use a standard muffin tin or a mini one – please advise. I’d love to make these for thanksgiving
I used a standard sized one!
