These peach caprese salad skewers combine so many of my absolute favorite foods. I love tasting sweet, creamy, tart, salty, and savory all in one dish. They work great as appetizers or side dishes. I love the idea of munching on skewers while waiting for the steaks to be done on the grill. If you want to make it a whole meal you can remove the ingredients from the stick and put them over a bed of mixed greens.

This light and tasty peach caprese skewer are just what you need to brighten your evening. This is a juicy, fruity, and savory skewer that is sweet and flavorful in every bite. It is fun to eat one at a time or double the ingredients to have another rich blend of sweet and savory combined. These peach caprese salad skewers are so fun and delicious!

Easy Peach Caprese Salad Skewers Ingredients

Customize your skewer just the way you want it! Pattern the skewer to use less of that ingredient so it goes further. Fill in the space with other delicious ingredients. For example, the mozzarella pearls were a little pricey, so I organized the skewers to only have two pearls but three of all the other ingredients.

  • Peaches – Slice the ripe, sweet peaches into bite-sized cubes. The peaches can start the caprese skewers giving it that fruity welcome. Peaches are always a treat when in season.
  • Heirloom cherry tomatoes – Cut in half into bite-sized pieces. Remember you are eating this as you are standing or eating it right off the skewer.
  • Prosciutto – Salty prosciutto is cut into sections. Then roll it into cute one-inch rolls. You can use ham or other meats. Cut into smaller sections and rolled for easy ways to eat.
  • Mozzarella – Fresh mozzarella cheese balls are a fun crowd pleaser. These are cute mini mozzarella balls that are soft and creamy in every bite.
  • Mint leaves – Fresh mint adds that little boost of freshness. Inserted within the skewer are the mint leaves. It is a breath of freshness.
  • Balsamic glaze – Garnish the balsamic glaze over the top right before serving.

Step-By-Step Instructions Peach Caprese Salad Skewers

These easy-to-make skewers with peach slices, mozzarella balls, cherry tomatoes, and a slice of savory meat are perfect to enjoy on a sunny evening. Just looking at these peach skewers makes me happy with the vibrant coloring. Assemble these skewers just the way you like them and enjoy!

  1. Prepare – Start with your peaches. Cut them in half, remove the pit, and cut them into cubes.
  2. Cut – Slice the cherry tomatoes in half.
  3. Slice – For the prosciutto, cut it into strips and then roll up the strips.
  4. Assemble – I gathered all my ingredients together in little individual bowls and set out my skewers.
  5. Time to assemble! I chose to do tomato, mint, prosciutto, peach, and mozzarella, but you can do any order you like!
  6. Serve – Drizzle the balsamic glaze over the top. If you don’t want to drizzle it, you can also serve it in the bowl on the side as a dip. Place on a pretty platter, cutting board, or plate for presentation.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is caprese and mozzarella the same?

No, they are not the same thing. Mozzarella is a type of cheese that is used to make caprese.

What does caprese mean?

Caprese means a short word for salad in Italian.

What does caprese taste like?

Classic Caprese salad is a plate of mozzarella and fresh tomatoes with basil and drizzled balsamic vinegar over top. This color combination is beautiful. Together the flavor is a savory, milky, and sweet tomato blend.

How are you supposed to eat Caprese?

Caprese is usually eaten with a fork. The fork will cut up the tomato and mozzarella. Since these are on a skewer, the mozzarella skewers can be slipped off with each ingredient onto a plate and sliced that way or eat it straight off the skewer. It is a fun twist to caprese!
