Benefits of Avocado
My kids LOVE avocados. In fact, it is one of the first fresh foods I feed them when I start them out on eating solid foods! Unlike a lot of baby foods that need blending, avocados can just be mashed up and served right away; no waiting, no steaming, no having to pull out the food processor. It is creamy and smooth so my kids eat it right up. Plus they are PACKED with all kinds of nutrients. Did you know they help you absorb fat-soluable nutrients? Now you know why they say “avocados are a ‘good fat'”. They are GOOD for you and can help you lose weight!
Perfect Pizza Crust
Making pizza dough from scratch is really really easy and it tastes so much better than anything you can find at the grocery store. Try our recipe for our Homemade Pizza Dough and see for yourself. Roll it out as thick or thin as you like. My husband loves a really thin crust pizza, so I opt for a thin crust and a thicker one for me and the children. You can even use it to make breadsticks or cheesy bread to go along with your pizza using the same recipe.

I learned that avocados’ aren’t a vegetable, they are a fruit because they have a seed.

Can’t wait to try the turkey-bacon avocado pizza soon! I have avocados ripening now and fresh tomatoes ready to go on top! I am trying to find new ways to get my kids to eat avocados.
Interesting….avocados are fruit! Love the way the little boy said avocado! Too cute!
I had no idea that avocado was a fruit, so that’s something I learned!
Where does the ranch dressing go on the pizza?
Whoops! I fixed it in the recipe! Somehow I left that part out, thanks for the catch!
I didn’t know you could buy avocados with guacamole already inside! That must be a new variety. Sign me up!!!
I loved the little boy who said if you don’t sleep you’ll die. So adorable! We love avocados at our house too! My fave is on top of tortilla soup.
Aww, those kids were adorable! I loved the girl talking about what a vegetarian is! Avocados are one of the foods that my daughters love, and I am so glad that they do! I try to introduce different foods to them frequently hopefully they will grow to like it.
