Baked Sweet Potato Fries

These baked sweet potato fries are colorful, crispy, and flavorful. They make a delicious side for burgers, hot dogs, sandwiches, or on their own as an appetizer or snack.

Ingredients

  • 4 sweet potatoes
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • Kosher salt to taste

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Wash, pat dry and peel sweet potatoes. Slice potatoes into long, French-fry size, sticks.

  • Place sliced sweet potatoes in a resealable bag.

  • Add just enough vegetable oil to lightly coat the sweet potatoes. Seal the bag and toss to distribute the oil evenly.

  • Distribute the sweet potatoes onto a cookie sheet in a single layer.

  • Bake for 35-45 minutes, turning often, until lightly browned.

  • Remove from oven and sprinkle on Kosher salt, to taste.
