- 4 bananas peeled and cut in half
- 1 cup chocolate chips
- 1 tablespoon coconut oil optional
Optional Toppings
- white chocolate chips melted
- crushed peanuts
- toasted coconut
Insert a popsicle stick into the thicker end of each banana half. Place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
Freeze for at least 2 hours.
Melt chocolate chips in a heat-safe bowl in the microwave in 30 second intervals. Stir well between each interval. If you want a thinner chocolate coating, add in the coconut oil and stir well.
Dip each banana into the chocolate and swirl it around to remove any excess.
Roll in toppings while the chocolate is still wet. Place on a lined baking sheet.
Allow the chocolate to set at room temperature. Once the chocolate sets, enjoy!
