- 1 cup white rice
- 2 cups water
- 3 tablespoons olive oil
- juice of 2 lemons
- lemon zest to taste
- 2 cloves garlic crushed
- 1 pinch ginger
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
- salt to taste
- cilantro chopped (optional)
Cook rice in a rice cooker or in a pan with a lid according to package directions.
Combine remaining ingredients in a small bowl.
Pour the sauce slowly over rice while fluffing with a fork.
Serve and garnish with cilantro and lemon slices.
