- 1 cup teriyaki sauce we like to use Mr. Yoshidas original
- ⅓ cup sweet chili sauce we use Mae Ploy brand
- ¼ cup soy sauce
- 1 Tablespoon fresh ginger finely minced or grated
- red pepper flakes to taste
- ¼ teaspoon Sriracha sauce or to taste-- depending on how spicy you like it
- 1 to 2 Tablespoons creamy peanut butter
Combine teriyaki sauce, chili sauce, soy sauce, ginger, and red pepper flakes in a bowl.
Heat the sauce in a small saucepan. Simmer for about 5 minutes. Remove from heat and divide into 3 small bowls.
In one bowl, add about 1/4 teaspoon of Sriracha sauce (or more to taste) and mix well. In the other bowl, add 1-2 tablespoons creamy peanut butter (or to taste), and mix until creamy and smooth.
Serve over lettuce wraps.
Other Sauce Variations:
- Asian-style BBQ sauce – ½ cup hoisin sauce + low-sodium soy sauce or water added until desired consistency is reached
- Spicy Oyster Sauce – Oyster sauce + Sriracha (to taste)
