Ingredients
1poundskinless salmon filletsuncooked, cut into 1 inch pieces (leftover cooked salmon or canned salmon can also be used)
½cupPanko bread crumbsplain or lemon pepper seasoned for added flavor
2Tablespoonsfresh chopped basil
½teaspoonKosher salt
1large egg white
For a Salmon Burger
4hamburger buns
2TablespoonsDijon mustard
8dill pickle slices
4tomato slices
4lettuce leaves
Instructions
Mix salmon, bread crumbs, basil, and salt.
Add egg white and mix well.
Divide the mixture into four even parts, and form into patties. Spray a frying pan with cooking spray. Cook the patties for 3 minutes on each side over medium heat until browned on both sides.
Serve on a bun with your favorite toppings and condiments.
