    I used cream of mushroom soup with garlic and added a little beef broth to mix the mushroom soup with the dry onion soup mix. I also added some celery, mushrooms and crushed red peppers. Delicious!

    I probably shouldn’t comment til my roast is done. That being said, I’m at the 4 hour on low point. I’m using a 2.75 lb pork loin. I’m using more onions and carrots than called for, plus added some celery since the roast is slightly smaller than suggested and we LOVE veggies. What I’m finding is that this needs a little liquid. I opened the slow cooker to quickly move the veggies around and found that VERY little liquid has cooked out and the mushroom soup mixture has not loosened up and given off any liquid. Potatoes and carrots that were resting against the side of the crock are dry and stuck to the side. So, I added about 1/2 cup of not water and have the lid locked back down. Will try to update review once it ‘s all done

Try adding a little milk to your soup next time it helps it in making the gravy also and it doesn’t dry up so easily also milk is a good tenderizer both before cooking or during I always add milk just throw pork roast in and pour cream soup and milk over it with the spices added to soup of course and it’s good everytime.

    1. The cream soup is a great way to make your pork tender I use this recipe all the time and it’s good everytime I don’t add my veggies I like to cook them separately for their own flavor

    1. Yes! So, follow the instructions for browning the meat, and then you can either cook it in the oven or on the stove top. For the oven, use a large pot with a lid and bake at 350 for about 3 hours. For the stove top, use a large pot with a lid and cook it on low heat/a simmer for about 3 hours. Hope this helps!

      I made this for dinner tonight, and it was honestly the best pork roast I have ever made! I followed the ingredients and directions, plus a can of chicken broth, and minus the whole onion because I forgot to buy it (!!!) but it came out so good, cooked it on low for 5 & 1/2 hours, then turned it up to high for the last hour.     1. You definitely can use some stock or broth if you would prefer. Beef broth might taste better than chicken broth but you can use whatever you prefer!

    2. I think your supposed to use a can of mushroom soup and then add the onion soup powder to it, that’s what im going to try

    4. Per the recipe, mix the dry soup mix with the canned soup, then mix with the vegetables to coat them. It is ‘gloppy’ but the juices from the pork roast will make a nice gravy. Be sure the veggies aren’t left on top of the roast or they won’t cook enough.

    5. I’ve got mine in the crock pot now for over 8 hours and there is plenty of liquid in just from the veggies and meat
